Painting is my passion, but creating artworks in a variety of medums keeps my interest in art going strong each day that goes by.

 

At the University of Lethbridge, I completed art courses in sculpture, drawing, painting and printmaking as well as numerous art history classes  

               

         

My latest interest is creating works of art using just thread and glue. The way that pure hues of coloured threads layer on top of one another gives an interesting textured, almost impressionistic appearance.

                      

While my latest interest is colour, I find the nuances of the human face of interest in stark black & white as well.

     

I am very fortunate to find myself back in the East Kootenays, creating art and enjoying this fabulous environment once again.
