In his native British Columbia,
and neighboring Alberta, George has garnered a wide knowledge of
the lakes, streams, wildlife and mountains of the west, which he
interprets with great beauty in his landscapes.

George's
works are in private collections of many world wide clientele and
he has exhibited extensively in one-man shows and galleries.
His work has been shown in
many international juried shows, such as:
The Calgary Stampede Arts
Show & Auction, The National Western Arts Show (Ellensburg,
WA), Ridpath Show (Spokane, WA), Trails West Show (Vancouver, WA),
The Favell Museum Show (Klamath Falls, OR), The Celebration of Western
Art (Olympia, WA) and the C.M. Russell Art Show (Great Falls, MT).

In 1999 and 2000 George received
Honorable Mention for his submission to the annual Trout Unlimited
Poster Contest.

Annually in October he hosts
a studio/gallery show at his Kimberley address to which the public
is invited. Viewing at any time at his home gallery, by appointment,
is offered to all interested.

Of much interest to his clientele
are the scenes George paints of the history of early day horse farming.

In his works of the native
peoples and their pow-wows, he captures the spirit of the people
and shows his great love of their culture and history.
