Kootenay Carnival magazine - featuring local talent, art news, music listings and gallery and theatre listings. Pick up your free copy at your local arts council and various other locations throughout the kootenay area. www.kootenaycarnival.com Attention: Independent artists and arts councils of the Kootenay region, We are taking one colour page in the magazine and calling it “Your friends, your neighbours—artists of the Kootenays”. This page will have room for ten advertisements of a 12 th in size. We are offering these spaces at a flat rate of $75.00 per issue. This is a tremendous savings nearing 45% off our regular rates giving artists the opportunity to market their work in glossy colour format. Scratch - A zine for youth in the Columbia Basin

EDITION 6 OF SCRATCH MAGAZINE IS COMING OUT THIS WINTER!

SCRATCH is about connecting youth (15 - 29 years old) in the Columbia Basin and about exchanging information about issues and ideas of interest to youth. Plus, the content for SCRATCH comes

cop/index_e.cfm ), recently launched Culture.ca, intended to be a gateway to information about arts and culture in Canada . The site includes links to and lists of Canada's museums, galleries, archives and libraries; resources on Canada's cultural heritage, including articles and testimonials; reference collections, including the Canadian

Encyclopedia Online; news of cultural events across Canada; and the National Library of Canada's online reference service. The portal currently has 1.5 million searchable web resources, and access to

more than 6000 Canadian website's. The information is split into art

and expression, history and heritage, media and publishing, people and

university, places and land, and sports and leisure, along with a section

on festivals and events.

ArtBuzz.org - informative with worldwide exposure!
The not-for-profit site, ArtBuzz.org , offers free "Standard" membership for professional quality visual artists. (upgrade to online Gallery Page or a Link to Your Website is available) It is the pursuit of Art Buzz to spread excitement and appreciation of the visual arts to a much broader audience and provide worldwide exposure of artist

members' work!

Projekt30 is an online gallery, run by artists, designed to expose
artists to "brick and mortar" art galleries which may be interested in

presenting their work. We are conducting a series of experimental

exhibitions to help generate exposure for the participants.
